Happy Father's Day!

Monday, June 17, 2013

I may complain once in a while (or alot) about they way he does something, how he forgot to do this or that, or I question,  "Why did you do that?" or I ask, "What were you thinking?" But when it really comes down to it, he's an awesome father. I couldn't imagine anyone else helping me raise these two miracle babies.

Happy Father's Day times two :)

Mini golf, carousal ride, lunch, ice cream, nap, pool time, doggy baths, dinner, park, and baths....Whew.

Linked 13: Comfort

Saturday, February 23, 2013

It's still early in the linking year...so I have plenty of time to eventually post linked theme on time, right?

If you read the post below you know our littest guy has been sick---making for several sleepless nights at our home. Last night was a very restless night, Doug and I took turns getting up with him, or I should say staying up since we weren't really sleeping.

After Miles finally gave in....there is nothing like finding comfort in your own bed.

The Men of the House

Sunday, April 1, 2012

The sun FINALLY decided to shine again today for a few short hours. I think we all had some spring fever built up after this past week of not so favorable weather.

Doug mowed our lawn for the first time this year today and some of the grass from the Spring post is sprouting up. I tried to get a little more picked up around the yard as well before we start replacing mulch soon. There seems to be so much work in order on the yard for spring this year I could quit my job and do yard work full time.

Anyways back to my boys who were outside busy fastening the plates on my new car...I think I could have won the Olympics for the 50 yard dash for how fast I ran into the house to grab the camera.

These next few shots are just glimpses into everyday life...Little moments like this melt my heart.

How awesome is this daddy who gets a steps stool so that his son can help to?

High fives, the job is complete.
