The best part of my Friday....a little boy, 43 degrees (in February, in MN) and screeches of excitement!
My advice after this post is to go get your camera out (leave the cell phone as a phone)----charge the battery, clear the memory card and start shooting. My friend Jenna gave me the best advice ever while I was on maternity leave...so all you new mom's listen up! She said, "As long as dress the baby in cute outfit and take a picture, if that's all you accomplish in one day, that is okay."
The only thing perfect about any of these photos is the MOMENT. The color, clarity and light, not great. Sometimes the not so perfect photo is the right photo.
I miss summer. I miss the fun of getting out and enjoying the warm sunshine and capturing moments like this! Honestly the next few photos I posted are probably some of my favorite photos that I've ever taken of Harrison. Sometimes I get caught up in the photography stuff and need to let loose once in a while.
To try to get a two year to cooperate for indoor studio shots takes practically a miracle. For Harrison's Valentine session I snapped well over 100 photos and walked away with 3 winners. Today I snapped 10 shots and 6 of them were winner worthy and minus the stress of TRYING to get the shot.
This next one I am pushing Harrison on the swing and have the camera hanging around my neck and I just clicked a few and was surprised with this. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

Seeing as how my kids are grown and gone and I sometimes had to scrounge to find a good photo for their scrapbook...ITotally Agree. With digital cameras, it's so easy to take tons (providing your camera is actually With you and not on your dresser at home). :-)
